About Polly

Polly Cutter is a retired pop singer and session backing vocalist, who first recorded the theme "One Day at a Time", taken from the family sitcom of the One Day at a Time.

In 1975, Cutter cut her only one single, "Ooh, I'm Satisfied", written by Fred Freeman and Harry Nehls, produced by Jeff Barry, and released on RCA Records. The song did not reach the Billboard Hot 100. Cutter also recorded the theme song to One Day at a Time, written by Jeff Barry and his wife, Nancy Barry. While being a solo artist that same year, she sang backup with her friends, Cindy Bullens, Bob Crewe, Jerry Corbetta and the rest of her friends behind Eleventh Hour on "Hollywood Hot", released on 20th Century Records. A year later in 1976, she discontinued as a solo artist from the pop music genre and then became a session backing vocalist for The Ventures, Lisa Hartman and Papa John Creach.

In 1979, Cutter retired and left the music industry.
